Covering: Wolverhampton, Bilston, Willenhall, Wednesfield, Codsall, Wombourne, Bridgnorth and the rest of the WV postcode area.
The local landmark: Molineux has been home to Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889, and the Pre-Raphaelite treasures of Wightwick Manor sit on the city's western edge.
Students: The University of Wolverhampton's City campus sits right in the centre, with purpose built student blocks around the ring road.
On the ground: Victorian terraces and council built semis across Bilston and Wednesfield, a handful of city centre tower blocks, and leafy village lanes out at Codsall and Wombourne. If carrying is the hard part, Assisted from £349 brings us inside, with a two-person crew when furniture or bikes are aboard (£15 per end for 2nd or 3rd floor with no lift, £30 for 4th and up).
Who makes this move: Students move in both directions each term, and graduates take the direct train to Euston for first jobs while families return for far more space than London offers.
While you wait for the van: Britain's first automatic traffic lights began working in Wolverhampton's Princes Square in 1927.
